In my 40+ years of engineering, the definition of "secure" has changed many times. We moved from the physical security of a mainframe room to the perimeter defense of firewalls, and eventually to the zero-trust models of the cloud.

But as we sit in 2026, a new security crisis has emerged. Every time you send your proprietary data or your core business logic to a third-party LLM provider, you are leaking your most defensible intellectual property (IP). You are effectively training your competitors' future models on your own hard-earned insights.
